Blood Test

During your annual exam, blood will be drawn in order to perform laboratory tests. Labs drawn for your annual physical include:

Complete Metabolic Panel:

Liver and Organ function tests such as GFR, Bilirubin, BUN, Creatinine, Glucose

Lipid Panel

Total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and Triglycerides

CBC

Complete blood count

HbA1C

Three month average of blood sugars (used to diagnose diabetes)

Thyroid Panel

T3, TSH, Thyroxine Total
